It's my wonderful husband's birthday and this show is all for him - and the date September 29.  Questions on who else shares his birthday, events that have occured on this day in music history, number one songs through the years on this day plus som birthday songs.  This weeks Back to Beck is from Dave Bennett and he has challenged Dave to trace some other famous Bennetts Back to Beck - I wonder how he will do?

I made it to double digits, thanks for sticking with me - hopefully I get to add another 0 to that tally soon enough.  For this episode there is no special theme, just 20 challenging music questions.  Thanks to Matt Tartar for his suggestion of a category of TV stars that also sing, also today we have rounds of Original or Cover?, Pick the Riff and Cameo as well as our regular segment of Back to Beck, this week featuring Air Supply.  Should be a good one.

Tomorrow marks the 16th anniversary of Stevie Ray Vaughan's death.  He passed away in a helicopter crash on Aug 27 1990.  Many other musicians have also met a similar fate - this quiz investigates several of those.  There are also some cover songs for you to identify and Dave has his first Back to Beck challenge.  Can he link Karen Carpenter back to Jeff Beck????
